I'd been told my perimenopause symptoms were “just stress” for two years. Nelo took 45 minutes, walked me through HRT options, and I left with a real plan. Wish I'd come sooner.
Confidential pharmacist consultations for the things we can help with directly — plus a trusted referral network and a curated shelf of resources for everything beyond our scope. No rush, no referral, no judgment.

Same-day assessment for uncomplicated UTIs and yeast infections. If it's appropriate, you'll leave with treatment in hand — not a referral.

Pharmacy is one piece of the puzzle. These are the practitioners we trust for the things outside our scope — carefully chosen, personally known, and updated as we meet more.
Specialty in hormone health, fertility, and thyroid. Our go-to for clients who want a functional-medicine lens alongside their pharmacy care.
Postpartum recovery, painful sex, prolapse, and bladder concerns. Gentle, evidence-based, and takes new patients most weeks.
When something needs imaging, surgery, or specialist input. Trauma-informed, generous with time, and willing to collaborate.
PCOS, perimenopause weight changes, gut health. No fad diets, no shame — just steady, sustainable food guidance.
PMDD, postpartum mood, perimenopause anxiety. Warm and practical, with sliding-scale options for clients who need them.
Specializes in pre/postnatal and lymphatic work. The first person we call when someone needs to feel held, not fixed.

A regularly-updated shelf of what we actually recommend in the consultation room — the books, podcasts, and clinician-reviewed sources we keep coming back to when you want to go deeper than a quick visit allows.
An honest comparison so you know where to go and when. There's no wrong answer — only the one that fits today.
We see ourselves as part of your care team, not a replacement. If your concern is outside our scope, we'll tell you straight away and help arrange the right referral.
Every visit starts with you talking and us listening — no clipboard, no rushing. We've blocked the time on purpose.
You'll leave knowing what we found, what your options are, and what we'd do in your shoes — in plain language.
The plan is yours. We're here to give you the information and the prescription — the choice is always yours to make.
A handful of recent notes from people who've come through the Women's Health consult room.
I'd been told my perimenopause symptoms were “just stress” for two years. Nelo took 45 minutes, walked me through HRT options, and I left with a real plan. Wish I'd come sooner.
I had a UTI on a Friday afternoon, no family doctor, no walk-in slots anywhere. I called Opal, was seen in an hour, and had an antibiotic in my hand 20 minutes later.
I switched my pill three times before someone actually explained the trade-offs. Nelo drew it on paper. I finally understand what I'm taking and why.
Honest answers about what we can and can't do — and how we get you to the right place either way.
Within our scope we can assess and prescribe for a defined list — uncomplicated UTIs and yeast infections, mild-to-moderate acne, contraception and emergency contraception, and renewals of many existing prescriptions. Anything that needs a physical exam, imaging, lab work-up, or specialist care is outside our scope. That's exactly what our referral network is for, and we'll point you to the right person.
No. You can book any Women's Health consult with us directly — no referral, no family doctor required. Ontario lets trained pharmacists assess and prescribe for the conditions above.
Yes. It's a no-pressure way to come in, ask a question, and see if we're the right fit. If you go ahead with a longer assessment or prescription, standard fees apply — UTI and yeast assessments are covered by OHIP, and many others by your extended-health plan.
In our private consultation room at the back of the pharmacy — fully enclosed and away from the dispensing counter.
Almost always — even if it's just pointing you toward the right practitioner. Come in or book a free consult; if it's beyond what we can do, we'll tell you straight away and help you get to someone who can.
Most weeks we have same-week availability. If you'd rather phone or pop in, we love that too — but the form to the right is the fastest way to lock in a time.
